I first wore them in winter under unpadded tights and sometimes rainpants, then alone in spring and summer, riding 300-400 miles a week. At summer's end I snatched up three more pairs on sale, because they worked. I had other bibs that chafed my bum on longer rides, and it was not fun to have to stand up every couple minutes after 40 miles with 20 left go go to relieve severe burning pain. The ozons let me sit, sit, sit, unless I needed to stand up to climb or sprint. Gore buys EIT pads from Assos/Cytech, which explains their comfort.I have some Assos FI Mille bibs, which are great too, but the Ozons are my main go-to's (since I own more pairs of them). They fit differently, but both models are totally comfortable for rides of 50, 70, 100 miles, and the Ozons on sale are the stand-out "Best Buy".
